"Exuvie" (Japanese: ぬけがら) is a song written and recorded by French singer LeyanMix, released on March 31, 2026, via Capitol Records. The song accompanies the biography novel Exuvia: Leyan and I, written by Narumi Komatsu.
On January 10, 2026, LeyanMix announced a biography novel of himself, Exuvia: Leyan and I. Written by Narumi Komatsu, the biography is based on Leyan's own account of his early childhood and eventual foray into the music scene. Alongside the announcement of the novel, Leyan shared he wrote and recorded an accompanying song, "Exuvie".
"Exuvie" was released on March 31, 2026, as a digital single.
On October 22, Leyan revealed the cover art for "Exuvie". The cover art was noted to be his first one taken "in real life" rather than featuring a hand-drawn character. The artwork features a photo of Leyan's silhouette on a chair.
In an interview with Billboard Japan, Leyan described "Exuvie" as a song where he is "talking to his current self". Encore described "Exuvie" as "a vocal calm yet powerful song where Leyan searches for light despite suffering from self-denial."
